Energy Management

Billing Analysis & Verification

Following implementation of our recommended supply contract our administration team provides ongoing support to ensure you only pay for energy you consume.

Each month we will check your invoices and confirm that it corresponds with actual consumption and that the tariffs comply with your supply contract. If your analyst is satisfied your invoice will be “passed for payment”.

As detailed in our “Case Studies” refund & credit opportunities are usually identified as we carry out this service. In the circumstance that an historical audit is recommended Inspired charge a percentage fee of any refund or credit gained which is pre agreed prior to starting the investigation.

HH Data Analysis & Reporting

Data analysis is available to all half hourly customers; your account manager will provide breakdowns of your monthly consumption. Dependant upon your chosen supplier online HH data is available. We see the benefit of this assurance service being that a client retains an analyst who ensures accurate supplier charges.

Any opportunities identified that create ongoing financial benefits are enjoyed wholly by the customer. Inspired provide this as part of the contract negotiation service.

Specifically for half hourly customers data analysis reports details your HH consumption figures into easy to read summaries. Inspired considers this to be a very valuable tool for clients needing careful monitoring of their consumption.

Water Audits

Water bills typically account for over 1% of business turnover. It may not seem a lot but water has many hidden costs that are not taken normally taken into account when analysing water consumption. Most businesses incur costs for their water including a fixed charge element for provision, charges for supply, waste and disposal.

The benefits to watching your water
Most companies for example can reduce their water consumption by between 20-50%, which could feasibly negate the price increases that companies are experiencing as a result of rising energy costs.
Because in the current climate of spiralling electricity and gas costs, anything you can do to minimise costs in other areas could mean the difference between a profitable and an unprofitable business. The other major benefit to being more water conscious is the added kudos you will gain from being seen to be a socially-responsible organisation, and adopting best environmental practices that set you apart from your competitors.
